Keturah,

Shortly after kissing you for the first time, I remember telling you that "things will never be the same now, for either of us." The words fell out of me almost involuntarily, as if I had not elected to say them by my own volition but was instead guided by some unconscious metaphysical knowledge that they must be said. I meant those words. Now, life is new -- old chapters are closed and old worries are laid to rest. My task now is to work for your peace and contentment, and to be vigilant that I never forget the thousandfold blessing I received when you gave me your hand and accepted my proposal that we share our lives together. Not a day goes by where I am not utterly floored by your natural disposition and beauty and mind, and it is the greatest honor of my life to know you (amazingly) feel similarly towards me. I hope our love inspires the world.

Yours forever,

Andy

I wondered if Willow was the matchmaker! How lovely. Thank you for sharing. So incredibly heartening. I’m married w children myself but I am preoccupied by my friends’ dismal experiences in the dating game and always pray for them to find True Love while I quietly collect proof that it’s completely lost from society. You have given me new hope!

What a pair you are! I have been reading Hinterlands for almost a year and just now found your beautiful writing through the mail in my first copy of County Highway. Congratulations on that front page debut! You might consider putting The Ruins Project on your traveling map sometime. We would welcome you both.

We are building a little cabin in the woods that will be ready for special guests by fall. Keep it in your back pocket.
